The film you are about to watch is a collaboration between filmmakers Samuel Crow and Matthew Semel. It is based on a suite of poems from the English poet Spike Hawkins, who was a founding member of the Liverpool poetry movement, created in response to American beat poetry.

Samuel Crow has won several awards for his Shakespearean sonnet films. Matthew Semel is a full-time animator and filmmaker in New York City.

“Four Pig Poems” is performed by a selection of pigs, who all exist as rubber stamps.
